Typically, I don't really have a theme in my classroom. I normally try to pull everything together with color. I've decided to try a theme this year, and it is going to be owls.
I started working on the cover of my O.W.L. books (think Bee book, Moose book, etc.). I've created one for the boys and one for the girls:
The graphics are from Print Candee and DigitalBakeShop.
I have a lot of ideas swirling about my owl theme, which I will be working on posting!
Do you have a theme? I'd love to hear about it!
Happy Thursday!
I love your owl theme. I have a bee theme. I create a BEE book like you mentioned that keeps the kids' stuff organized.

Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!
I have a pirate theme in my classroom. I have a PIRATE notebook (Prepared, Informed, Ready, and Together Everyday) that I use & love for organization. Your OWL Book is adorable!

This year we are doing a Jungle Theme in kindergarten. Just created a WILD parent communication packet. I love owls and have always wanted to do one them.

You will have to let me know how you like having a theme! I'm a hodgepodge kinda girl and have never had a theme.
ReplyDeleteBy the way...you made my day...absolutely MADE MY DAY over at TpT. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
