One of my favorite bulletin boards of the year is "The Snowy Days of January." By the end of the month, we will have built a snowman. Each day adds a new piece to the snowman.
This is what we had on Thursday:
Other pieces of the snowman include mittens, a scarf, arms, a carrot nose, and a LOT of coal - eyes, mouth, buttons.
The students are always excited to watch the snowman take shape, and they like to guess (Aha! Predictions!) what will come next.
What are your favorite bulletin boards?
Happy Sunday!
What a cute idea :) I will definitely implement this next year with my kiddos, I think your class will love this :)

That is suck a great idea! I should try and come up with this for February! I think my kids would love it!
ReplyDeletecute! I have an A.R. board, where each month the kids who pass with an 80, 90, or 100% get the die cut for that month to add to our board. One month they add leaves to the bare tree, and pumpkins to the vine. For dec and jan, it's adding snowflakes to make the snowman! :)

Love this! My favorite bulletin board is one I have done at Christmas time. I hang a string across it and the students can fill out Christmas "bulbs" (printables)that says "______'s light really shined when _____." about someone in our class that they saw do or say something kind.
ReplyDelete@ Miss DeCarbo: Oh My Word! That is too cute! I will be remembering it for next year!!
